This is an open-ended monthly bereavement support group available to the public. You are welcome to attend the group as long as you find it helpful. All adults who have experienced the death of someone in their lives are invited to take part in the healing process within this comforting, supportive environment. The group is offered at no charge.

Just Coffee

When you are grieving it can be tough getting out and socializing again. Perhaps those precious moments in the morning once shared with your person are difficult to get through. Having a familiar, comfortable place to go can help ease the transition.

Little Talks, Big Feelings

Children experience grief differently than adults and knowing how to talk with them about death and grief can feel overwhelming. This supportive workshop offers practical tools and compassionate guidance for having meaningful conversations with children . Whether you're a parent, teacher, counselor or caregiver our hope is that you will feel more confident and prepared to walk alongside children through grief with love and honesty. Space is limited. Please RSVP by February 23^rd.

Grief Gardening Memorial Plant Workshop

Join us as we pot plants and positive intentions to create living personal memorial items. Lory’s Place will provide all supplies to participants and they will create their own potted plant to take home. This activity is designed to encourage individuals to tend to their grief as they would a garden. Space is limited. RSVP by March 20th

2026 Run Walk Rock

This is the 22nd anniversary of the Lory's Place Run, Walk and Rock to benefit Lory's Place, a Grief Healing and Education Center.  Every year, Lory’s Place is honored and grateful for the community’s support of Run Walk Rock. All of the programs and services at Lory’s Place are available at no charge. That means that no child or adult is ever turned away because of an inability to pay. The children, adults, and families who are part of Lory’s Place join us in expressing deepest gratitude to you for supporting our mission of grief healing.
